…on LOVE

SiNGLe + AvAiLaBLe X FLirTinG = ( the S word )

Last year, I can proudly say that I am living a very simple and not complicated life.. until my “first time” happened out of curiosity because a friend of mine kept on bragging about his achievements in the “love[making] field”. I got so obsessed doing it to the point of not caring as to with whom and what would be the consequences. I became a “sex shopper”. Everybody’s doing it, so why won’t I? But beyond the physical craving, I felt that something, from those experiences, is lacking.

Then came a magical book by Dr. Ray E. Short; “Sex, Love or Infatuation: How Can You Really Know?”. According to him, there are 11 known facts if you will have the “S” thing before marriage.

1. Break up before you marry.

2. Scare off anyone who wants to marry a virgin.

3. Be less happy in your marriage.

4. Get a divorce.

5. Commit adultery after you marry.

6. Be fooled into marrying for the wrong reasons.

7. Achieve married sex happiness quicker BUT

8. Be less satisfied with your married sex life.

9. Spoil total sex due to sexual salivation.

10. Have guilt feelings that may nudge you into poor marriage.

11. Be deprived of that all- important “sexual cement” right when you need it.

I wasn’t thinking of marriage then, but I’ve realized what’s lacking – THAT feeling.

Karma came – I fell in love. But just when I thought it has hit me, I got rejected. The satisfaction I felt before could not compensate for the pain.

Now I regret the times I’ve been so playful and hope to be forgiven by those I’ve hurt too. This post is for them.
